Chef Christopher Tong appears at Chicago's Green City Market

Chef Christopher Tong, one of Chicagoland’s most accomplished chefs and a favorite at Chicago's Green City Market will appear again this year to share his culinary expertise as he presents a cooking demonstration featuring locally produced seasonal ingredients.
The demonstration is on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. You will learn how to prepare Chef Tong’s delicious recipe, and, of course, be able to taste it on the spot.
This is Chicago’s only year round farmers’ market promoting local, sustainable farmers, producers and chefs by connecting them to the public through educational programming and special events.
The Green City Market is located at the south end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton Drive (approximately 1750 N. Clark). The event is free and there is discounted parking ($9) at the Chicago Historical Society parking lot off Stockton Drive. Tickets must be validated.
