Join My Private Chef for a Garden Fresh Recipe during Food Network Magazine weekend at the Chicago Botanic Garden

Chef Christopher Tong of the upscale Chicago private gourmet dining service, My Private Chef will share one of his garden fresh recipes featuring potatoes at Chicago Botanic Garden's popular annual Garden Chef Series. The weekend is sponsored by Food Network Magazine and the U.S. Potato Board.
Chef Tong will appear on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 1:30pm and 2:30pm in the Regenstein Fruit & Vegetable Garden, Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois.
Toasting the U.S. Potato Board, Chef Chris will present a delicious roasted Fingerling Potato Salad served over spicy Shrimp.
People who are casual cooks or lovers of gourmet food get to ask questions, discuss preparation, and come away with a fabulous recipe that they can try at home. Chef Chris will give tips on ingredients and serving. And, everyone gets to have a taste! Seating is limited and on a first-come, first served basis.
Admission to the Chicago Botanic Garden and Garden Chef Series is free. Parking is $25.00 per car; free for Garden members.
