The 8th annual Anderson Dessert Crawl is an event that at one time would have been right up my alley. And truth by told, it still is even though I've cut down significantly on my sugar intake.
I mean if you're going to eat dessert, you might as well really enjoy it. And it sounds like you'll be in heaven at this event!
It takes place on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Twenty restaurants and stores in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood will showcase their desserts by giving away tasting-size portions on two different routes, each one featuring a dozen different treats.
Choose from a route that features goodies such as Butterscotch Panna Cotta at Vincent or one with Blood Orange Mousse with Ginger from My Private Chef.
It's all to benefit the non-profit Andersonville Development Corporation, which fosters sustainable community development in the Andersonville commercial district. Cost: $20 in advance, $25 the day of the event
