My Private Chef shares delicious menu ideas at Chicago Botanic Garden

Chef Christopher Tong of the upscale Chicago gourmet dining service, My Private Chef, will share a favorite bison recipe during Food Network Magazine weekend at Chicago Botanic Garden’s popular annual Garden Chef Series sponsored by the Colorado Tourism Bureau.

Chef Tong will show how to make a delicious dish featuring Colorado bison.

Bison Steak with Ancho Chile Blueberry Sauce and Sweet Mashed Potatoes

Chef Chris will appear on Sunday, July 24 at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. in the Regenstein Fruit & Vegetable Garden, Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first served basis.

People who are casual cooks or lovers of gourmet food get to ask questions, discuss preparation and come away with recipes that they can try at home. Chef Tong will give tips on ingredients, and serving. And, everyone gets to have a taste! Seating is limited and on a first-come, first served basis.
